Ingo Bitzer, new Managing Director of the MAT Transmission Division & CEO of MAT Europe
The former CEO of Feinguss BLANK and EICF Vice Chairman has taken on the role of Managing Director of the international MAT group. At the turn of the year 2020, the MAT Transmission Division – a business unit of the British corporate group MAT Foundry Group Ltd. – carried out an internal change of management and, with Ingo Bitzer, it has gained an experienced manager in the automotive supplier industry.

The MAT Transmission Division, of which Ingo Bitzer became Managing Director from January 2020, is a business unit of the MAT Foundry Group Ltd. and it unites the Germany-based companies MAT Foundries Europe GmbH in Neunkirchen (Saarland), MAT Machining Europe GmbH in Immenhausen(Hessen), Präzisionstechnik Resources Altenburg GmbH in Altenburg (Thuringia), Schmidt Automotive GmbH with sites in Westhausen-Lippach (Baden-Württemberg) and Eberswalde (Brandenburg) as well as the American machining location in Auburn (Alabama). Around 1,000 employees generate an annual turnover of over 230 million EUR.
