Advancing investment casting knowledge in Europe

Another edition of the Investment Casting Manufacturing Technologies course was successfully completed at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Brno University of Technology, Czech Republic, during 6–12 September 2026.

The course brought together 18 participants from European PIC Foundries and companies across the investment casting supply chain, including teaching & research staff from other universities. It provided a valuable opportunity to deepen technical knowledge, exchange experience and strengthen connections between industry and academia.

The week concluded on Saturday, 12 September, with the presentation of the Course diplomas by Dr Jiří Hlinka, Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. This photograph, taken at the faculty entrance following the ceremony, marks the completion of a rewarding week of learning.

EICF extends its sincere thanks to all participants, lecturers, collaborating companies and suppliers, whose commitment and support made this edition possible. We also warmly thank our hosts at Brno University of Technology for their contribution.

Together, we continue to advance knowledge and develop the skills that support the future of Europe’s investment casting industry.
