The European Investment Casters’ Federation (EICF) is pleased to announce the 35th EICF International Conference & Exhibition, which will take place from 10 to 12 May 2027 at the Congress Centre House of People (Folkets Hus) in Stockholm, Sweden. An additional day, 13 May 2027, will be dedicated to an exclusive technical visit to the GKN Aerospace Investment Casting Manufacturing Plant in Hallstahammar.
The conference theme for 2027 is:
“Investment Casting Under Pressure: Capacity, Investment, and Supply Chain Challenges”
The investment casting industry continues to face unprecedented challenges driven by increasing demand from aerospace, defence, energy, medical, and industrial sectors, while simultaneously confronting capacity constraints, supply chain disruptions, workforce shortages, and the need for significant investment in manufacturing capabilities and technology.
The 35th EICF International Conference & Exhibition will provide a platform for industry leaders, foundries, suppliers, researchers, and end users to examine the critical issues shaping the future of investment casting. Discussions will focus on capacity expansion strategies, supply chain resilience, investment requirements, technological innovation, sustainability, digitalisation, and the evolving needs of global markets.
The event will bring together experts and decision-makers from across the international investment casting community to exchange knowledge, share best practices, and explore solutions to the challenges facing our industry.
