In 2016 Mark became a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society this was a result of 25 years’ continued service in the Aerospace Industry.

In 2019 Mark joined the board of Morvern Group and is a shareholder in the business

Morvern is a holding company focused on growing and managing highly specialized businesses in the aerospace and IGT sector. Currently Morvern currently owns two complementary businesses : Tarpey Harris a supplier of wax assembly and wax injected products to the aerospace engine and Industrial Gas Turbine sectors and Altaras International a dedicated supplier of tooling and machining services to the aerospace engine and industrial gas turbine sector.
