EICF IC Manufacturing Technology Course

Last Saturday (16 of September) afternoon the first EICF University Course ended with a ceremony by which the Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering from Brno University of Technology Dr. Ing.  JIŘÍ HLINKA handed over to the students that had passed the final course test the Diploma certifying the achievement of Investment Casting Engineering Specialist.

After 6 intensive days 14 students from different European companies attended, lectures, visited manufacturing plants and did manufacture investment casting products by themselves.

This achievement for the first time in Europe provides the basis for a sustained effort in providing education in the field of Investment Casting Manufacturing Technology supporting the industry into the development of their professionals or helping it to attract new workforce to join

EICF would like to express recognition to Brno University of Technology / Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and in particular to the team from the Department of Foundry Engineering who made this possible : Dr. Vladimir Krutis; Prof. Ing. Milan Horáček and Dr. Ing. Antonín Záděra.

The last mention should go for the students (full professionals from the industry and their companies either foundries, suppliers or research institutes) who attended; thank you for trust into the EICF. Now is your turn to put all that experience gained into play in your daily job and disseminate it among your colleagues !!!!
