Dr. Gavin Dooley

Gavin studied Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering in Trinity College Dublin, Ireland and a PhD from the University of Birmingham, UK. Gavin’s PhD was entitled “Shell Improvements for the Investment Casting of Orthopaedic Implants”. He has gained over 5 years investment casting experience as a process and materials engineer within a medical device foundry before joining Remet in 2016. He has recently also completed an MBA from the Open University. Gavin supports Worldwide product development, customer technical service and quality for the REMET Group.

Dr. Azhar Juhari

Dr. Azhar Juhari works within REMET’s R&D department as a Polymer Chemist, working on working on wax and shell developments.

Azhar gained his doctorate degree in 2010 from Johannes Gutenberg University in Germany where he studied the “Structure-Property Relations in Complex Copolymer Systems” in collaboration with the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research.

Azhar has more than 10 years’ experience working in the materials and oil & gas sectors. He has been with REMET UK 4 years.
