2018 promises to be a memorable year as it brings together the global Investment Casting community for the EICF’s 29th International Conference.
I’m pleased to announce that next year’s conference will be held in the World Heritage city of Porto – Portugal’s second-largest city; famed for its historic bridges spanning the river Douro, the old town district of Ribeira, and its association with port wine.
Attendees will benefit from a thought-provoking 2-day programme of presentations covering all aspects of the investment casting process, as well as an extensive exposition featuring key suppliers to the industry, plus an invitation to visit Portugal’s foremost investment casting foundry, Zollern & Comandita, who specialise in the manufacture of investment cast products made of steel-, aluminum- and nickel-cobalt-based super alloys. EICF International Conferences now attract around 300 delegates and 35 exhibitors from over 25 countries around the globe.
The conference will also provide a unique opportunity to network and meet fellow professionals representing the full breadth of the investment casting industry.
The conference will take place 22nd – 25th April, 2018 at Europarque near Porto, Portugal.
